All change for 2010 30 May 10 With the Radicals being a big change from the saloon format we are used to, it was only a matter of time before we moved back to saloon cars and an opportunity to enter a well prepared Seat Leon in the Dunlop Sport Maxx Production Cup was too good to pass, so all change from Radical to Seat for the remaining part of the year and beyond.
The Dunlop Sportmaxx Production Cup Championship forms part of the Great and British Package of races which visit multiple venues during the season. This package also has significant support from Dunlop who offer an excellent service to all competitors at these events. Many competitors have aspirations of competing within the British Touring Car Championship and see the Production Cup as a way to achieve their ambition. As a result of this aim, in many ways the Championship tries to mirror many aspects of the BTCC in terms of the event format.
The Production Cup offers far more media exposure for sponsors too, with excellent TV coverage including live broadcasts, lots of magazine and press attention and the high profile driver line up means potential sponsors will see rewards for their investment.
